Icon Films picks up 3 awards at The Royal Television Society Awards West of England

Jungle Gremlins of Java for BBC2’s Natural World, directed by Steve Gooder, took Best Natural History.  Day of the Aphids, aBBC One Show short film directed by James Reed, took Best Daytime & Early Peak and Million Dollar Moon Rock Heist for National Geographic Channel, directed by Jeremy Bristow, took Best International Documentary.

Harry Marshall, creative director of Icon Films, said we are delighted with our success in these awards.  The range of their subject matter, their shooting style, tone and diversity of channels and Broadcasters is testament to the many talents of the entire Icon team and of our ambition to find new creative challenges.

The ceremony was held for the first time at Bristol Old Vic on Sunday 24th February before a packed audience and presented by Bristol’s own Naomi Wilkinson.
