Icon are gearing up for an exciting Wildscreen

Join Icon throughout the Wildscreen Festival as we offer words of wisdom, awards, the world premiere of Savage Kingdom and an insight into two of television's leading names in natural history, Fred Kaufman of WNET Nature and Janet Han Vissering of NatGeo Wild.

With an array of events hosted by Creative Director Harry Marshall, Managing Director Laura Marshall and Director of Production Andie Clare, an Icon Films sponsored Emerging Talent Panda Award, an Animal Behaviour Panda nomination for Africa’s Fishing Leopards and the world premiere of Savage Kingdom with an appearance from Charles Dance, the 2016 Wildscreen festival will be a packed and exhilarating week.

For all those festival virgins, Laura Marshall will be at the Arnolfini giving her best tips on Monday 10th at 9.30am along with Wildscreen CEO Lucie Muir.  Creative Director Harry Marshall will be ‘On the Couch’ interviewing leading natural history Executive Producer Fred Kaufman and uncovering the personality behind the commissioner label.  Director of Production Andie Clare will be sharing her knowledge on Tuesday 12th, presenting Telly – Getting in and Getting On from 11.30am, an opportunity not be missed by anyone new or looking to break in to the industry. On Wednesday night Laura and Harry will  be presenting the Emerging Talent Award at the Panda Awards, a brilliant way to support and encourage new talent within natural history production.  Laura will also be interviewing Nat Geo WILD's Senior Vice President of Development and Production Janet Han Vissering On the Couch, on Thursday 13th at 11.15am.

Wednesday 12th brings award winning Charles Dance to Bristol for the highly anticipated world premiere of our collaboration with NHFU Botswana, Savage Kingdom. The Nat Geo WILD commissioned series will be taking over the Cinema De Lux at Cabot Circus from 8.00pm to an exclusive festival audience - and Charles Dance will be on the stage answering questions with Cinematographer and Director Brad Bestelink amongst others.
